ARES Robotics rookie season was 2018-2019. The team is a sister team to ACME Robotics (8367), and was started as a result of the growing interest and popularity for competitive robotics by ACME. We are a community team, based in Grass Valley, CA and include students from Nevada Union and Ghidotti High Schools as well as Yuba River Charter School.

Sean Giomi
Year: Sophmore
Role: Hardware team
Sean was on our sister team, ACME, before he helped start ARES, and is one of the members of the hardware team.
Nikita Khryapin
Year: Sophmore
Role: Software team
Nikita is one of the coders on our small software team.
Eli Barbieri
Year: Sophmore
Role: Hardware team
Eli is our main CAD and OnShape enthusiast, and has 3d printed a lot of the custom parts on our robot .
Kenton Boswell

Role: Hardware team
Kenton is one of the members of our hardware team, and he also helps with the business notebook assembly.
Jason Mack

Role: Software team
Jason helps with lots of outreach, and mentors an FLL team at one of our local middle schools.
Julia Barbieri

Julia is one of the members of our business team, and is the curator of our website and business notebook.
